Fjord Express To Juneau |
Depart Haines in the morning and head south thru Lynn Canal on
the Fjordland, a new 65’ state-of-the-art specially designed
catamaran. You’ll view hanging glaciers and weather-beaten
Eldred Rock, site of Alaska’s first lighthouse. Wildlife
abounds in Lynn Canal and you’re sure to see bald eagles, harbor
seals, porpoise and humpback or killer whales. There will be a
stop at a rookery where hundreds of Steller sea lions gather in
the summer to breed and pup.
Upon arrival in Juneau, board a motorcoach for a tour of
Juneau’s highlights including Mendendall Glacier, the state
capital building, the governor’s mansion and downtown Juneau.
